Candle Care

HOW TO BURN

  1. Before lighting make sure your candle is on a stable surface away from any flammable objects and is also in a well-ventilated room, away from drafts.
  2. Always trim your wick to 1cm length, this will control the size of flame, avoid 'sooting' and also help your candle burn up to 50% longer.
  3. Once your candle is lit to prevent 'tunnelling' allow enough time for your candle to melt to the edges of the jar.

HOW TO STORE

  • When your candle is not in use, put the lid on to keep your candle away from dust.
  • Your candle could fade, melt or warp if not stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources and direct sunlight as candles are sensitive to temperature and humidity.
  • Storing your candles for too long could make your candle not as strong, to make the most of your candles scent don't hesitate to use it straight away.

EXTRA CARE

  • Avoid burning for more than 4 hours at a time, this will stop your candle wick from 'mushrooming'.
  • After cutting your wick make sure there aren't any wick trimmings on the wax as this could act as another wick and make your candle burn faster.
  • Don't burn your candle all the way down, for safety make sure there is at least 1cm of wax in the bottom of the jar.

IMPORTANT

  • KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN AND PETS
  • NEVER LEAVE A BURNING CANDLE UNATTENDED
  • NEVER TOUCH OR MOVE A BURNING CANDLE
